Basketball Zero Styles Tier List
Styles decide how you score, defend, and move. Limited styles crowd the top tiers, and most of them are out of the spin pool right now. Still, the regular pool holds enough strong options to climb ranked without one.
S+ Tier Styles
These styles win matches almost by themselves. Emperor is the only one you can still pull from regular spins.
Style | Rarity | Availability | Main Role |
| Chrollo V2 | Limited | Unobtainable | Scorer and interceptor |
| Tatlis V2 | Limited | Unobtainable | Offense and defense hybrid |
| Emperor | Miracle | Spin pool | All-round playmaker |
| Honored One | Limited | Unobtainable | Scorer with crowd control |
| Basketball God | Limited | Unobtainable | Dunker and shooter |
Chrollo V2
Chrollo V2 is the second personal style of developer Chrollo, and nothing else matches its range of tools. Its dribble stuns anyone standing too close. You can also change direction mid-dribble, which makes it very hard to read. Off the ball, it cuts off almost any pass and drives straight off the interception.
The awakening opens with Time Erasure, which slows everyone to a near stop. Its second awakening move works like a shot with almost unlimited range. Use both, and you gain a borrowed moveset from other styles, including Perfection. A recent nerf removed the i-frames from its intercept, yet it still outclasses nearly every kit. Silver is the one style with a real answer to it. Its personal zone is Crimson.

Tatlis V2
Tatlis V2 is the second personal style of developer Tatlis, and it plays as an offense and defense hybrid. It carries one of the longest dribbles in the game, with strong movement on and off the ball. Its Soul Steal punishes any ball handler who gets careless nearby. A nerf toned it down after launch. It asks for more skill than Chrollo V2, and some players rate it higher in certain matchups.

Emperor
Emperor takes after Akashi from Kuroko no Basuke, and it is the strongest style you can still roll. Emperor's Dribble breaks ankles on a backward step and unlocks Emperor's Drive, a feint that opens a big gap. Ultimate Pass is unblockable and hands your teammate an extra Zone meter.
On defense, Emperor's Reach denies shots automatically. Emperor's Defense spawns a sphere that stops nearby passes and shots. The recent rework kept all of this and added fade, layup, and nutmeg options, plus a new awakening. That makes the rework a straight buff rather than a rebuild. Pair it with Emperor Vision, its personal zone.

Honored One
Honored One suits players with sharp mechanics. Lapse Dribble is a fast stun dribble that chains into Lapse Shot. That shot curves in from half-court and is tough to contest. Lapse Pull drags opponents in and stuns them. Reversal Dribble covers long distances, and Hollow Dash adds quick mobility. The awakening brings Hollow Shot, which is close to unblockable, and Infinity Dunk, a domain-style finisher. Few kits mix scoring and crowd control this well.

Basketball God
Basketball God is the most reliable pure scorer among the limiteds, and it is easy to learn. Reverse Dunk launches a long-range dunk with i-frames. Shammgod is an ankle-breaking dribble with step-overs that opens the lane. In awakening, Dunk Over Heaven gives you a guaranteed dunk from center court. God's 3 does the same from beyond the arc. The trade-off is defense, since the kit offers almost nothing to stop the other team. Outside a normal block, Emperor is the only style that can deny its dunk.

S Tier Styles
S-tier styles win most matchups but need some setup, timing, or teamwork to hit their ceiling. Kira is the only one in the spin pool right now, and only while its event runs.
| Style | Rarity | Availability | Main Role |
| Kira | Limited | Live event | Control and disruption |
| Scary Monster | Limited | Unobtainable | Long-range ball thief |
| Vampire | Limited | Unobtainable | Crowd control |
| Curse King | Limited | Unobtainable | Two-way all-rounder |
| Goat | Limited | Unobtainable | Solo scorer |
| Judgement | Limited | Unobtainable | Defensive enforcer |
| Tatlis V1 | Limited | Unobtainable | Crowd control |
| Spider | Limited | Unobtainable | Possession control |
| Rubberman | Limited | Unobtainable | Two-way flex |
Kira
Kira is the newest limited style, themed on Light Yagami from Death Note. Its kit forces opponents to change how they play rather than beating them off the dribble. Heart Attack punishes players who dribble nonstop. During the New World awakening, sprinting raises an opponent's heartbeat until they collapse. Final Judgment then targets the entire opposing team at once. Its personal zone is Manipulator. Kira holds a provisional S rank until players find reliable counters.

Scary Monster
Scary Monster draws on Diego Brando from Steel Ball Run. It strips the ball from opponents at huge distances. Players call it one of the most disrespectful styles on court. Extreme speed and time manipulation let it dictate the pace of a match. Its S rank stays provisional until the community settles on counters.

Vampire
Vampire builds its whole kit around space and time control. Time Skip Dribble teleports you behind your defender, and Go Back returns you to where you started. Off the ball, Time Skip Dash teleports you and freezes opponents. Freeze stuns everyone nearby. The awakening adds Steam Roller for crowd control and Time Stop, which freezes the whole enemy team for several seconds. Timing decides everything with this style. Pair it with Vampiric, which shortens the Time Stop cooldown.

Curse King
Curse King has an answer for almost every situation on both ends. Rebound pulls a loose rebound toward you, and Slash Layup turns it into quick points. World Red Slash is a simple dribble that stuns defenders. Dismantle blocks a shooter and stuns them in the same motion. Red Line Dribble covers long distance, while Red Line Shot teleports you into a long-range attempt. In awakening, Cleave Throw is unblockable, and Malevolent Dunk teleports you to steal the ball before dunking. Combo timing is the only real hurdle.

Goat
Goat is one of the strongest solo scorers in the game. Goat Dribble knocks defenders down and unlocks Sky Lob Layup, a euro-step finisher. Off the ball, Goat Charge is immune to ankle breaks and knocks the ball loose. Sleep Shot handles long-range attempts. Full Court Green is an unblockable shot from anywhere on the court. Moon Shot closes plays with a cinematic finisher. It offers little for teammates, so it shines most when you carry.

Judgement
Judgement is a defensive enforcer that forces turnovers better than almost any style. Judgment Dribble knocks a defender down and unlocks Judgment Drive for separation. Judgment Swap stuns opponents and can pull possession your way. Gavel Slam ignores steal immunity entirely. Thunder Call drops lightning that ragdolls players, and the Guilty awakening takes the ball for you. Gavel Strike covers scoring with a teleport shot or dunk. Its scoring still trails other S tier styles. Its auto steals are also one of the few answers to Basketball God.

Tatlis V1
Tatlis V1 is the original Tatlis style and still one of the purest crowd-control kits around. Snap stuns everyone around you and sets up a guaranteed steal. With the ball, Colored Strike works as an i-frame dash that stuns. Without it, the same move steals on contact. No Where To Go drops a large crowd-control zone. In awakening, You're Mine steals off the ball or stuns the whole team on it. Nerfs made it more predictable, and it scores less than the styles above.

Spider
Spider controls possession better than most limiteds. Shot Sense automatically intercepts nearby shots and passes. Roll Away gives you an i-frame roll with layup and dunk versions. Teamwork throws a teammate toward the ball, and Say Hi punishes opponents who are already ragdolled. Senses grants auto-dribble or shot catching for 30 seconds. Catch steals a shot and turns it into a self alley-oop. It needs sharp timing to work.

Rubberman
Rubberman lets you flip between attack and defense on demand. Gear Switch swaps between offense and defense modes. Gum Block intercepts shots from long range, while Gum Slap knocks the ball away. Observation Haki auto-dribbles to protect you from steals. Undetermined Shot handles scoring from distance. Liberation Dribble stuns the whole enemy team after a short mini-game, and the Drums of Basketball awakening fires a three. It left the spin pool, but it sometimes returns through the Sneaky Black Market.

Basketball Zero Zones Tier List
Zones are passive buffs that stack on top of your style. You activate one once your Zone bar reaches at least 30%. The bar fills by 5% every 15 seconds on its own. Scoring, ankle breaks, steals, and blocks fill it faster. Once active, it drains 2% every second. Getting an ankle broken, stolen from, or blocked also costs you meter.
Extra dribble is the most valuable buff in the game, so zones that grant it dominate the top tiers. Older limited zones without confirmed effects appear in the full zones list further down, but they stay unranked here.
S+ Tier Zones
These zones pair extra dribble with a second strong buff. Emperor Vision and Oldschool are the two you can still roll.
| Zone | Rarity | Availability | Key Buffs |
| Emperor Vision | Miracle | Spin pool | Miss chance, extra dribble, no ankle breaks |
| Oldschool | Miracle | Spin pool | Two extra dribbles, range, longer ankle breaks |
| Senses | Limited | Unobtainable | Speed, faster shots, extra dribble |
| Ordinary | Limited | Unobtainable | Lower cooldowns, extra dribble, off-ball speed |
| Darkness | Limited | Unobtainable | Ball speed, dunk range, extra dribble |
Emperor Vision
Emperor Vision gives nearby opponents a 25% chance to miss normal shots. It also adds an extra dribble and makes you immune to ankle breaks. That mix of defense and ball security helps almost any style. Emperor gets the most from it as its personal style. Speed styles like Jackpot, Copycat, and Flash also run it well.

Oldschool
Oldschool grants two extra dribbles and more shooting range. Defenders who fail to steal from you stay ankle-broken for two seconds instead of one. The catch is slower movement with the ball. That debuff skips dribble speed, so constant dribbling hides it almost completely. Basketball Unc is its personal style.

Senses
Senses boosts your movement speed and shooting speed, then adds an extra dribble on top. Think of it as a stronger Street Dribbler. It fits nearly every offensive style in the game.

Ordinary
Ordinary cuts your ability cooldowns by 15% and adds an extra dribble. You also run faster off the ball, which helps on defense and rebounds. Lower cooldowns make almost every kit stronger, so this zone suits any style.

Darkness
Darkness makes you faster with the ball, extends your dunk range, and adds an extra dribble. Dunk-heavy styles like Basketball God and Star get the most from it.

S Tier Zones
S tier zones deliver one elite buff or a strong bundle of smaller ones. Three of them are still in the spin pool.
Zone | Rarity | Availability | Key Buffs |
| Gold Vision | Miracle | Spin pool | Dribble speed, extra dribble, faster passes |
| Tomoware | Mythic | Spin pool | Steal protection after pickup |
| Street Dribbler | Mythic | Spin pool | Extra dribble, ball speed |
| Perfectionist | Limited | Unobtainable | Extra dribble, speed, range |
| Shock | Limited | Unobtainable | Extra dribble, range, shot assist |
| Real Basketball | Limited | Unobtainable | Unblockable dunks, range, speed |
Gold Vision
Gold Vision speeds up your dribble, adds an extra dribble, and makes passes travel faster. Each dribble carries you much farther, and quick passes are hard to intercept. Passes can even turn into dunks. It is the personal zone for Gold and suits any pass-heavy style.

Tomoware
Tomoware protects you for 1.5 seconds after you pick up the ball. During that window, auto steals, shoves and ball-drop moves don't work on you. Players also report a boost to dribble speed. It directly counters Jackpot, Eclipse, both Tatlis styles, Thief, Silver, Basketball Unc, Valentine, King of NYC and Gold. For a Mythic zone, that is a long list.

Street Dribbler
Street Dribbler adds an extra dribble and makes you faster with the ball. It is the go-to zone if you don't own a stronger extra-dribble option. Ace, Jackpot, Flash, and Giant all pair well with it.

Perfectionist
Perfectionist adds an extra dribble, raises your speed, and extends your shooting range. It plays like an upgraded Street Dribbler with a shooting bonus on top.

Shock
Shock adds an extra dribble, more shooting range, and a stronger shot assist. It also lowers Cyber's Psycho Bar by 1% every second. That makes it the best partner for Cyber and a strong pick for shooters.

Real Basketball
Real Basketball makes your dunks unblockable and extends your shooting range. It also adds a small speed buff. On dunk styles like Star and Basketball God, it plays like an S+ zone.

A Tier Zones
A-tier zones give one strong buff with a smaller extra, or shine on specific builds.
| Zone | Rarity | Availability | Key Buffs |
| Posterizer | Mythic | Spin pool | Unblockable dunks inside the arc |
| Quick Draw | Legendary | Spin pool | Faster release, faster ball |
| 777 | Mythic | Spin pool | One random buff |
| Animalistic | Mythic | Spin pool | Jump height, speed, block window |
| Chaos | Limited | Unobtainable | Ball speed, shot speed, lower cooldowns |
| President | Limited | Unobtainable | Team shot speed, team zone boost |
| Extraterrestrial | Limited | Unobtainable | Block and steal hitbox, jump, range |
B Tier Zones
B tier zones help in narrow situations or only on their matching style.
| Zone | Rarity | Availability | Key Buffs |
| Limitless | Legendary | Spin pool | Aim assist, long range |
| Speed Dribble | Legendary | Spin pool | Faster dribbling |
| Unbreakable | Mythic | Spin pool | No ankle breaks |
| Monster | Miracle | Spin pool | Dunk and block range |
| Rubber | Limited | Unobtainable | No ankle breaks, stun on ankle break |
| Paint | Limited | Unobtainable | Off-ball speed, stun chance, no ankle breaks |
| Vampiric | Limited | Unobtainable | Faster ankle break recovery |
C Tier Zones
These zones give small bonuses that rarely change a possession.
| Zone | Rarity | Availability | Key Buffs |
| Lockdown | Epic | Spin pool | Faster steals and defense |
| Sprinter | Rare | Spin pool | Slight speed boost |
D Tier Zones
Replace these as soon as a better zone lands.
| Zone | Rarity | Availability | Key Buffs |
| Dime | Epic | Spin pool | Teammate speed after a pass |
| Hustle | Rare | Spin pool | Speed while the ball is loose |
Best Style and Zone Combos in Basketball Zero
A good zone can patch a style's weak spot or double down on its strength. Most of these pairings use styles and zones you can still roll.
| Style | Zone | Why It Works |
| Emperor | Emperor Vision | Personal pairing that stacks shot denial, extra dribble and ankle-break immunity |
| Gold | Gold Vision | Longer dribbles and faster passes feed Gold's passing kit |
| Basketball Unc | Oldschool | Two extra dribbles and longer ankle breaks back up Unc's steals |
| Silver | Monster | Bigger dunk and block range turn Silver into a wall at the rim |
| Ace | Street Dribbler | Extra dribble and ball speed fuel Athletic Drive |
| Giant | Posterizer | Unblockable dunks inside the arc suit Post Form and Contact Dunk |
| Sniper | Animalistic | A higher jump makes long-range shots harder to block |
| Star | Animalistic | Extra jump height and speed help Star get airborne near the rim |
| Jackpot or Flash | Street Dribbler | Extra dribble backs up two speed-reliant kits |
| Cyber | Shock | Shock lowers Cyber's Psycho Bar every second |
| Vampire | Vampiric | Faster Time Stop cooldown and quicker ankle break recovery |
| Alien | Extraterrestrial | Jump height boosts Alien's passive and adds block range |
How to Get Better Styles and Zones Faster in Basketball Zero?
Every style and zone comes from spinning, so small habits add up over a few hundred rolls. Use our tips below to get these styles and zones faster in Basketball Zero:
- Normal spins cost in-game cash, and each zone roll runs $2,000 of it. Grind matches for cash before you spin.
- Lucky Spins skip Rare and Epic entirely and guarantee a Legendary or better. Burn your normal spins first and keep Lucky Spins for the end.
- Tap the style or zone you want before spinning. That gives it a 10% boost over everything else in the same rarity.
- The game takes pity after 50 spins and hands you a higher-rarity result. Keep spinning in batches instead of stopping early.
- Watch the Black Market. It sells one limited style for $3,000,000 in-game cash or a zone for $1,000,000. Stock rotates weekly.
- Check the Sneaky Black Market after big updates. It sometimes brings back older limiteds like Rubberman.
Lucky Spins mostly come from codes. Grab every active one from our Basketball Zero codes (Link to Basketball Zero codes) page before your next spin session.
