This Epic Seven tier list ranks the strongest picks for RTA, Arena and PvE after the 8th anniversary update. Our ratings are calculated from real-time PvP data that is publicly available on the different databases. All Factors Taken Into Account to Build this Epic Seven Tier List

We ranked PvP heroes using live Real-Time Arena data from Champion rank and above. Pick rates, ban rates, and win rates shape each hero placement. We then checked those numbers against what high-rank players actually draft. As the nature of the game is, a poorly built hero can still outperform a high-ranking hero. Your equipment and the stats they provide play a bigger role in deciding match outcomes in the upper echelons of PvP. But still, raw hero power provides a latent advantage.

Lisette

Lisette is the 8th anniversary Light Soul Weaver, and she arrived on Mystic Summon on 27 August 2026. Her kit revolves around undoing damage. When an ally falls, she turns them into a crystal and can bring them back. In PvP, her Time Reversal can reset her whole team to its condition at the start of the fight.

The numbers show how scary that is. She holds a win rate close to 59% in Champion+ RTA, and most players ban her before picks even begin. Her weak spot is Extinction, which stops revives entirely. That is why Hecate and Briar Witch Iseria give her the most trouble.

Notos

Notos is a Light Knight from Mystic Summon, and his third skill changes the rules of a fight. It boosts his Attack, Defense, and Health while switching off buffs and debuffs for every hero on the field. The match then turns into a raw stat check, and Notos usually has the bigger stats.

Most players pair him with the Holy Sacrifice artifact, which revives him after a lethal hit. Killing him once rarely ends the problem. Expect him to disappear in the ban phase right next to Lisette.

Perfumer Byblis

Perfumer Byblis is a limited Fire Soul Weaver, and no hero gets drafted more often in RTA right now. Her passive explains why. Once an ally drops to half Health after a hit, she cleanses two debuffs. She then heals the team and adds a barrier. Her third skill then puts two venom stacks on every enemy and detonates them.

She pairs especially well with Estelle, a tank who soaks damage for the whole team. Because she is limited, you can only pull her when her banner returns.

Rhianna and Luciella

Players open their drafts with this Dark Thief duo more than any other hero. Rhianna strips buffs and inflicts bind and defense break, then swaps with Luciella for an extra turn. Their third skill hits all enemies, ignores damage sharing, and inflicts fear.

They slot into almost any team, which explains the huge pick rate. Their win rate sits close to even, though. Think of them as a safe first pick that keeps your options open, not a hero who wins games alone. They are also the top reroll target for new accounts.

Lady of the Scales

Lady of the Scales is a Light Soul Weaver who punishes teams built on speed tricks. Her basic attack can inflict fear and heal your whole team. Her passive gives her Combat Readiness whenever an enemy gains it. Teams that keep pushing their own turn bars end up feeding her extra turns.

She also marks your front ally with an offering. If that ally dies, the rest of your team recovers half their Health. Most drafters either take her early or ban her.

Shepherd of the Dark Diene

This Dark Mage is one of the hardest supports to remove in the game. When a soulburn happens, she can strip enemy buffs while granting immortality. Her passive also keeps her alive through hits that should finish her. Her third skill debuffs every enemy at once and ignores Effect Resistance.

Opponents ban her in well over half of high-rank drafts. If she reaches your side unbanned, protect her and let her drag the fight out.

Frieren

Frieren is an Earth Mage from the Frieren anime collaboration, so she only returns with collab reruns. Live trackers show opponents banning her in more than half of high-rank drafts. That level of respect tells you how much damage she does when she gets through.

Estelle

Estelle is an Earth Knight who exists to soak damage. She takes 40% of the damage aimed at her allies. When an ally loses a big chunk of Health, she clears her debuffs and counterattacks. Her basic attack always crits and scales with her max Health, so she is cheap to gear. Pair her with Perfumer Byblis whenever the draft allows.

Boss Arunka

Boss Arunka is a Light Knight and one of the most common early picks in RTA. Her win rate trails slightly behind her popularity. She still works as a dependable opener for most rosters.

Arbiter Vildred

Arbiter Vildred is back in the PvP conversation. A May 2026 balance patch gave this Dark Thief more evasion and bonus damage against Light heroes. That matters a lot, since Lisette, Notos, and Lady of the Scales are all Light. He also remains one of the best PvE farmers, so building him is never wasted.

Hecate

Hecate is an Earth Warrior and the cleanest answer to Lisette. Her Extinction effect stops a defeated hero from coming back. Live data lists her as one of Lisette's two hardest matchups, alongside Briar Witch Iseria. Owning a built Hecate can win you drafts that would otherwise feel hopeless.

School Nurse Yulha

School Nurse Yulha is a Moonlight Dark Thief and the biggest climber of the season. Her RTA pick rate jumped by more than 13 points in a single September week. Her win rate also sits just above 50%, so the hype has real results behind it.

Tidal Rift Elvira

Tidal Rift Elvira is a Dark Mage who arrived in July 2026. Her basic attack usually seals the target before it lands. On her own turn, it can also trigger an AoE strike that drains Health and may inflict fear. She starts every battle with engulf, which doubles that fear chance.

Her passive rewards debuff-heavy teams. Each time an ally uses a skill, the debuffs on the enemy team can push her Combat Readiness forward. Players draft or ban her in about a third of high-rank games.

Harsetti

Harsetti is a Dark Mage who rewrites the speed race in PvP. At the start of battle, her passive locks her own Speed. Every other hero, ally or enemy, can only reach 90% of her Speed. On her turn, Combat Readiness boosts from any hero stop working too.

Her basic attack lowers Defense and follows up with an AoE hit that lowers Attack. Both scale with her max Health, so she can build bulky. She shows up in close to half of all tracked drafts.

Genesis Ras

Genesis Ras is a sturdy Light Knight whose damage scales with his max Health. His second skill inflicts seal and collapse on a target, and a critical hit earns him an extra turn. His third skill hits all enemies, penetrates Defense, and grows stronger as fewer enemies remain. He also performs well in PvE, which makes him one of the safer investments on this list.

New Moon Luna

New Moon Luna is a Light Mage built around tempo. Her basic attack and second skill both push her Combat Readiness forward. The second skill also lowers Defense and splashes extra damage onto every enemy. At the start of battle, she shrugs off the first effect from enemy heroes and artifacts. Her third skill then seals the whole enemy team.

Monarch of the Sword Iseria

Monarch of the Sword Iseria is a Light Knight who turns counterattacks into a team weapon. Her passive doubles her counter chance and resists Defense penetration. When she counters a hero, your front ally counters too. Her counter version of the basic attack also pushes Combat Readiness for herself and that ally. She gains a barrier after attacking, so she holds the line well.

Belian

Belian is a long-serving Light Knight with a simple but brutal passive. While she stays alive, the enemy team cannot gain Souls. That shuts down soulburns and every plan built around them. All her attacks hit the whole enemy team. The catch is that the enemy starts gaining Souls again once she falls. She still wins more games than she loses.

Aube

Aube is a limited Ice Ranger from a July 2026 banner. Her second skill grants cascade to all allies, then gives her a skill nullifier and an extra turn. Her third skill locks the enemy team in a frame. It dispels two buffs, then inflicts immobilize and restrict on every enemy. Ranked players often pair her with Arbiter Vildred and Perfumer Byblis.

Briar Witch Iseria

Briar Witch Iseria is a Dark Ranger and the classic answer to revive teams. Her kit dispels all buffs, lowers Attack and stops enemies from receiving new buffs. Her Extinction effect also means a defeated target cannot come back. That makes her one of Lisette's two hardest matchups.

Salome

Salome is a Moonlight hero who arrived with Episode 6 in April 2026. Her second skill copies an enemy hero for one turn, borrowing that hero's stats and skills. During the copy, she nullifies skill damage and earns an extra turn. She also inflicts crumble and decreased Defense. Live data ranks her as Lisette's third-hardest matchup.

Ivana

Ivana is a Fire Soul Weaver built to break support-heavy drafts. When an enemy holds immortality at the end of any turn, she cleanses your team. She also grants Radiance, which halves the damage your team takes for two turns. Her third skill gives allies immunity and lets your attackers ignore damage sharing. That kit directly answers Lady of the Scales and Shepherd of the Dark Diene.

Aubade Ludwig

Aubade Ludwig is an Ice Ranger who plays the long game. He generates Souls, cycles his turns quickly and adds steady follow-up damage. The longer a match runs, the more often his big skills come around. Short fights blunt him, so he needs teammates who buy time. Players draft or ban him in more than a quarter of high-rank games.

Uncharted Pioneer Politis

Uncharted Pioneer Politis is an Ice Ranger from the 8th anniversary update. Her role depends on where you place her. In the front row, her skills lean offensive. In the back row, they switch to defensive effects. Her Covenant pickup banner opened on 3 September 2026, so data on her is still settling.

Eye of the Abyss Fumyr

Eye of the Abyss Fumyr is a limited Earth Mage from the summer 2026 update. Her third skill inflicts Detain on the foremost enemy hero. Detain removes that hero from the battlefield for a short time. Against teams built around one key frontliner, that can swing a fight early. Players draft or ban her in over a quarter of games.

Empyrean Ilynav

Empyrean Ilynav is a Light Knight from the 2024 Moonlight Theater story. She raises Penetration Resistance for all allies and inflicts injury on an enemy every turn. Her damage scales with max Health, so she stays bulky while dealing damage. Her third skill removes two debuffs from all allies and grants Indomitable. That buff raises Defense and Effect Resistance for two turns.

Zio

Zio is a Dark Mage who still appears in about half of high-rank drafts as a pick or ban. Opponents also pre-ban him in roughly a quarter of games. That respect comes with a catch, though. His win rate trails well behind his popularity on live trackers. Draft him when the matchup clearly favours him, not as an automatic first pick.

Ruele of Light

Ruele of Light is a Light Soul Weaver who heals the team and can revive a fallen ally. That kit keeps her useful in RTA, Arena, and PvE alike. She is also usually the best pick from the free Moonlight Blessing. Newer Soul Weavers now take the top RTA slots, but she still sees regular use.

Desert Jewel Basar

Desert Jewel Basar is a Light Soul Weaver who heals the whole team after his basic attack. His kit also grants immunity and Combat Readiness to all allies. His basic attack can stun, and a soulburn turns it into an AoE hit. He sees far less RTA use than the top supports, but he remains a steady Arena pick.

Iseria

Iseria is an Earth Ranger and a PvE legend more than a PvP pick. Her second skill resets the skill cooldowns of another ally. Her third skill dispels all buffs, lowers Defense, and blocks new buffs for two turns. That reset still powers plenty of Hunt and Raid teams. In RTA, newer heroes do her job faster.

Elvira

Elvira is an Ice Thief who turns dangerous once she becomes immortal. Her third skill dispels all buffs, makes the target unhealable, and grants her immortality for three turns. While immortal, she cuts enemy Fighting Spirit gain and adds an AoE follow-up that inflicts beguile. She sits in B because immortality counters like Ivana are common in today's drafts.

Yulha

Yulha is an Earth Knight built to punish single-target attacks. Her passive reflects part of the damage attackers deal back at them. That makes her a handy blocker against single-target carries. Her banner artifact, Sphere of Sadism, adds a barrier at the start of battle. The newer School Nurse version now gets far more RTA use.
