GTA 6 Characters: Lucia, Jason & Full Cast Guide

Lucia in GTA 6 is the first woman to lead a modern Grand Theft Auto story. She shares that spotlight with Jason Duval. This guide to GTA 6 characters covers both leads, every named supporting character, and the voice cast so far. It also separates official details from fan guesswork, so you know who to expect on 19 November.

Who Is Lucia in GTA 6?

Lucia Caminos is one of the two playable protagonists in GTA 6. Rockstar's official bio paints her as a fighter from day one. Her father taught her to throw punches almost as soon as she could walk. That toughness came at a cost. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and plain luck got her out.

Prison changed how she operates. Rockstar sums up her new rule as "only smart moves from here." She wants the good life her mother dreamed about since their days in Liberty City. The difference is that Lucia plans to take that life instead of waiting for it.

Rockstar adds that she will stick to her plan, no matter what it takes in a GTA game, which rarely means staying legal for long. Jason has the military past, but Lucia has the clearer goal.

What the Trailers Show About Lucia

The first GTA 6 trailer opened on Lucia in an orange prison jumpsuit. A prison social worker asks if she knows why she is there. Lucia simply blames bad luck. The rest of the trailer shows her racing cars, partying in Vice City, and pulling off a hold-up beside Jason.

Trailer 2 picks up on the other side of the prison gates. Jason waits for her, and the two raise a toast to new beginnings. The Extended Look from August 2026 went further. It showed Lucia working a security job, attending a rooftop party, and hiding from a police raid.

Is Lucia the First Female Protagonist in GTA?

Mostly, yes. The 1997 original let you pick a few female characters, but they had no voice or story. Every story lead from GTA III to GTA V was a man. Lucia is the first fully written female protagonist, which is why her reveal hit so hard.

Who Is Jason Duval in GTA 6?

Jason is the other half of the duo, and his life is far less glamorous. He grew up around grifters and small-time crooks. He joined the Army to shake off a rough adolescence. Afterwards, he drifted to the Leonida Keys and fell back into what he knows best: working for local drug runners.

His boss and landlord is Brian Heder. Jason lives rent-free at one of Brian's properties, as long as he handles local shakedowns. Rockstar describes him as a man who wants an easy life that keeps getting harder. Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing that ever happens to him. Even Jason cannot tell which yet.

How Jason and Lucia Play Together?

Rockstar's trailers frame the pair like a modern Bonnie and Clyde. They are partners in life and partners in crime. You play as both of them, much like the three-character setup in GTA 5.

Rockstar North's Rob Nelson explained that the story decides when you can switch. Some missions let you swap freely, some lock you to one lead, and some switch you midway. Outside missions, you can roam as a couple or split up.

Their relationship is also an optional system. Time together, shared activities, and texts all strengthen the bond. You cannot break them up, and nurturing the bond gives no direct gameplay bonus. The story, however, reflects how close you keep them. Splitting up during a crime can even throw off police hunting for a couple. OurGTA 6 gameplay breakdown covers these systems in more detail.

List of All GTA 6 Supporting Characters

Rockstar's official website profiles six more characters beyond the two leads. Each one gets a short bio and a tagline. Read together, they show who Jason and Lucia will owe, trust, and probably cross.

Brian Heder

Brian is a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. He still moves product through his boat yard alongside his third wife, Lori. He has been around long enough to let younger men like Jason do the dirty work. His tagline says he looks like a beach bum but moves like a great white shark.

Lori Heder

Lori is far from a background character. She works the boatyard with Brian, and official footage shows her handling a rifle with ease. Jason is also expected to drop by now and then for her sangria.

In September 2026, King of the Hill actor Stephen Root confirmed he appears in GTA 6. He did not name his character. Fans, however, had already matched his voice to Brian from the trailers.

Cal Hampton

Cal is Jason's best friend and another of Brian's associates. He feels safest at home with a few beers, listening in on Coast Guard radio. His tagline wonders what would happen if everything on the internet were true. He reads like comic relief, though his radio snooping could easily matter during jobs.

The Extended Look ends on a monologue from Cal. Many fans link his voice to comedian Bobby Moynihan, but Rockstar has not confirmed it.

Boobie Ike

Boobie is a Vice City legend who turned his street years into a legitimate empire. He owns real estate, the Jack of Hearts strip club, and a recording studio. He is all smiles until business comes up. His biggest bet is Only Raw Records, the label he backs with Dre'Quan Priest.

Dre’Quan Priest

Dre'Quan was always more hustler than gangster. He dealt on the streets to make ends meet, but music was the goal all along. For years, he booked acts into Boobie's club. Now that he has signed Real Dimez, he has his eyes on the wider Vice City scene. All the label needs now is a hit.

Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)

Real Dimez is a rap duo made up of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, best friends since high school. They started out shaking down local dealers. Then they turned that cash into spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. An early single with local rapper DWNPLY took them to new heights. Five years and plenty of trouble later, they are signed to Only Raw Records.

Raul Batista

Real Dimez is a rap duo made up of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, best friends since high school. They started out shaking down local dealers. Then they turned that cash into spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. An early single with local rapper DWNPLY took them to new heights. Five years and plenty of trouble later, they are signed to Only Raw Records.

Other Named Characters in GTA 6

The trailers and the 26-minute Extended Look named several more faces. The Extended Look premiered on Netflix on 27 August 2026. None of these characters have an official profile yet, but a few clearly matter to the main story.

Character	Who They Are
Valentina	Returns from GTA Online's 2025 Money Fronts update. She hires Jason and Lucia as event security.
Andrés de León	A wealthy Megamundo associate the duo escorts to the company's new US headquarters.
Petra Navarro	Megamundo's chief operating officer. Her company's opening party ends in an armed robbery.
Méndez	A ruthless Vice City police officer who raids a deal involving Jason and Lucia.
Raymond and Ernesto	San4San gang members who run a drug operation.
Stefanie	The prison social worker who questions Lucia in Trailer 1.
Wyman	A car collector behind the Ultimate Edition's classic car side activity.
Phil	An Ammu-Nation ad star who may nod to Phil Cassidy from older GTA games.

Valentina matters most here. She is the first character confirmed to cross over from earlier GTA content. That opens the door for more cameos, though nothing points to Michael, Franklin, or Trevor yet.

GTA 6 Voice Actors: Confirmed vs Rumored

Rockstar rarely names its cast before launch, and GTA 6 follows that pattern. Only one actor has spoken on record so far. Everything else comes from fans matching voices and faces.

Character	Linked Actor	Status
Lucia Caminos	Manni L. Perez	Rumored
Jason Duval	Dylan Rourke	Rumored
Brian Heder	Stephen Root	Root confirmed he is in the game
Cal Hampton	Bobby Moynihan	Rumored
Rest of the cast	TBA	Not announced

Manni L. Perez is the name fans tie most closely to Lucia in GTA 6. She is a New York actor with TV credits on Law & Order and Jessica Jones. She also had a small voice role in GTA Online years ago. Her voice and look match Lucia closely, but neither she nor Rockstar has confirmed anything.
