Question 1

Which Call of Duty games can I use the points in?

Accepted Answer

The balance works across the current Call of Duty titles that support CP, which include Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare III, Modern Warfare II, and Warzone. Points you redeem are shared across those games on your account, so you can put them toward a Battle Pass in one title and a bundle in another. You do need the specific game installed to spend points in it.

Question 2

Will these points work on PlayStation or PC as well?

Accepted Answer

No. Call of Duty Points stay on the platform where they were added, so an Xbox code gives you points to spend on Xbox only. Even if the same Activision account is linked across PlayStation, Steam, or Battle.net, the balance does not move between them. The items you buy with the points are shared across your linked platforms, but the points themselves are not.

Question 3

Do I need to own a Call of Duty game to use the code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The code adds points to your Microsoft account, but to spend them you need one of the supported Call of Duty games installed, an internet connection, and a linked Activision account. If you redeem the code before installing a game, the balance simply waits on your account until you open a title that can use it.

Question 4

Where do I redeem the code?

Accepted Answer

You redeem it through your Microsoft account, either on your Xbox console or by signing in through a web browser. The Xbox mobile app does not have a field for codes, so use the console or a browser for that step. Once the points are on your account, they are tied to the account rather than any one device, so you can spend them in a supported game on any Xbox where you sign in.

Question 5

Is this a good way to gift points?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because the code is separate from any bank card, it works well as a gift or as a way to set a clear spending limit. Hand the code to the person and let them redeem it on their own Microsoft account, so the points and anything they buy land where they play. Just make sure their account region matches the region the code was made for.
